Join Creative Wanderings Art Center's fun filled, confidence building, creative art camp. We will be leading week-long art enrichment programs in Barrington, RI for kids ages 5-12. This is a perfect way to celebrate creativity outdoors. 
The program includes 5 full days of creative activity with an option to customize your camp plans 2, 3, or 4-5 days.

Camp Kippewa is an overnight camp in Maine for girls ages 7 - 15 offering two distinct sessions of 3+ weeks. Campers select from a broad range of activities to create weekly schedules. Located on a gorgeous lake, our caring, nurturing environment encourages girls to try new activities and challenge themselves. 

A 12-day, all girls immersive equestrian camp experience located in Monmouth, Maine. Whether an enthusiastic beginner, an advanced rider, or anything in between, KEA campers enjoy their time at camp through our complete equestrian experience. For girls ages 9-16.

Camp Winaukee is an all boys traditional overnight summer camp for boys ages 8 - 15. We offer excellent sports instruction amidst a well-rounded traditional summer camp program. Boys ages 8-15 enjoy playing sports, hiking, trying new things, making new friends, playing on Lake Winnipesaukee and most importantly, spend their time at camp technology free! Full summer and 3 or 4 week session options available. 2 week introductory option available only to first time campers finishing 1st-6th grades.

Create some Artistic Dessert masterpieces with us! Learn about blending colors when creating colored pencil fruit sketches and oil pastel designer cakes! We will also paint 3-D ceramic cupcakes with blended colors of paint to experience 2-D and 3-D art forms on this day with blended colors that will be tastefully delightful!

Mystic Seaport Museum offers a number of summer camps and programs that provide a unique learning adventure! Our wide selection of Summer Day Camps offers campers ages 4 to 16 a kid’s-eye-view of maritime history as they explore the Museum. Community Sailing day camps let kids ages 6 to 15 build and refine their sailing skills with our sailing instructors out on the Mystic River. Our residential, Joseph Conrad Overnight Camp invites campers 8 to 15 to spend a week with us, learning to sail by day, doing fun maritime themed activities in the evenings, and sleeping aboard a historic ship by night. And teens 15 and up can sail along the coast as part of the crew of the schooner Brilliant. Select the camp that best suits your children and give them a summer to remember at Mystic Seaport Museum! Experience the Museum’s waterfront from both land and sea—and step into the life of a sailor. Mornings are spent exploring Museum exhibits and participating in hands-on activities, which may include climbing the rigging on the historic Joseph Conrad, learning the basics of celestial navigation in the Treworgy Planetarium, and trying a variety of maritime crafts. In the afternoons, campers head to the Sailing Center to learn small-boat sailing on the Mystic River with our U.S. Sailing–certified instructors using the Museum’s fleet of historic Dyer Dhows. For alumni of our Joseph Conrad Sailing Camp, this program offers a fun, relaxed way to revisit many favorite activities in a day-camp format.

Spend a week learning about teaching children! You'll walk the path of a teacher, planning fun lessons and activities, and then implementing those activities with children.

Campers will learn the basic skills of jewelry making by creating accessories to show their individuality with beading, braiding, wire wrapping and more.

From sandy shores to open skies, young artists will explore the natural world through clay in Shore to Sky. This ceramics camp invites students to draw inspiration from the coast, the ocean, the air above us, and everything in between—encouraging imagination, observation, and creative storytelling. Campers will learn foundational ceramics techniques while experimenting with form, texture, and surface design. Through guided instruction and open-ended creative time, students will develop their ideas and bring them to life in a supportive, playful studio environment. Emphasis is placed on exploration, craftsmanship, and self-expression, making this camp a great fit for both beginners and returning ceramic artists. No prior ceramics experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy with clay! Artists will celebrate the end of their week with a Grand Finale Art Exhibit for family and friends to view on Friday afternoon. NEW THIS YEAR! Artists will be given the opportunity to create a sensory-based slime activity aligned with this week’s art theme.

Heldeberg Workshop offers outdoor classes in science, fine art, folk art, performing arts, and high adventure for children entering kindergarten through high school. Our classes are led by experts, artisans, and certified teachers who want to share their knowledge and skills with kids.

Summer Discovery Adventures are immersive, week-long day programs that give kids a chance to step back in time and experience life in the 1830s at Old Sturbridge Village. Every session offers kids the opportunity to explore an aspect of 19th-century history and daily life. All programs include an afternoon snack, hands-on crafts, and the chance to learn something new while making lasting friends and memories.

Hey turtle lovers, it’s time to come out of your shell! Campers will be amazed as they learn about turtles of all types and sizes, especially those that live in the ocean. Campers will have the unique opportunity to explore captivating exhibits and get up close with our animal ambassadors that call the aquarium home. Our knowledgeable staff will guide campers through a journey of discovery, delving into the challenges sea turtles face, the differences between turtles and tortoises, and much more! Campers will also go on an adventure out to our local estuary at Bluff Point State Park, where they will investigate the marsh, search through tide pools, wade along the shoreline, and play some turtle games. It’s a shell-ebration of turtles they won’t forget!

Join us at the Nature Center for a week of outdoor fun! Each morning we’ll start off with free play as campers arrive and check in. Throughout the day, campers will hike, have live animal encounters, and participate in games and activities that relate to the theme of the week.

Summer Farm programming for kids ages 6-12 (older 5 year olds can be considered) Kids will learn basic animal handling and care, homesteading skills, participate in planting activities, and have some good ol’ fashioned farm fun. Our farm has 10 horses, 5 alpacas, 5 goats, lots of chickens various breeds, bunnies and a bearded dragon!

Join us for exciting explorations during our camps. Go on a variety of field trips, enjoy karate, sports, games, arts & crafts, and more. Parents don't worry, we keep students educationally engaged through the summer with our reading cafe and partnership with Providence Public Library, and our interactive summer reading passports. Students have math and STEM labs every week, and our field trips wrap up their learning at the Boston Science Museum.

Get fired up! Campers learn skills associated with different styles of fire building while understanding the importance of fire safety. Campers compete in fire-starting challenges and even do some campfire cooking during this popular survival skills week.

MobileQuest Summer Camp is a hands-on STEM experience where campers explore: Robotics & coding Engineering & building challenges Creative technology (green screen, stop motion, movie making) Circuits, inventions & problem-solving Team challenges and collaborative projects Each week follows a similar structure with new projects and challenges.
