Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend Celebration - At RISD Museum

Free admission for all visitors over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19, 2025. This initiative, generously donated by Amica Mutual Insurance, invites the community to honor Dr. King’s legacy through art, culture, and conversation. In addition to free admission, the RISD Museum will offer a variety of special programming throughout the weekend, designed to celebrate Dr. King’s vision of equality, justice, and community.

2025 Shipyard Tours at Mystic Seaport Museum

Ever wondered what is behind the ropes in the Museum’s Henry B. du Pont Preservation Shipyard? Join us this winter for small group guided tours of the Shipyard’s machine shop and rigging loft and interact with our skilled shipwrights as they describe the work they are doing on this winter’s projects, including the L.
