2026 Frozen Art in the Village - At Olde Mistick Village - Mystic, CT

Olde Mistick Village will be transformed into an outdoor gallery of sculpture during its ‘Frozen Art in the Village’ event Saturday, Feb. 14 through Monday, Feb. 16. Starting at 12 noon on Saturday, the grounds will transform into a winter wonderland with 24 glistening ice sculptures on display. “Families are always seeking opportunities to get out and enjoy themselves,” said Chris Regan, property manager of Olde Mistick Village. “We are always looking to create a special experience that focuses on community, families, children, and people of all ages to enjoy.” The theme of the event will be “Hearts on Fire,” in support of ‘Valentine’s Day’ weekend. Visitors will be encouraged to participate in the weekend photo contest by taking photos that reflect a Valentine’s theme of love, couples, family, and of course — pets. Share photos using the hashtag #FrozenArtInTheVillage. Olde Mistick Village gift certificates will be awarded to the winners in each of the four categories. Winners will be announced and contacted on Wednesday, Feb. 18. A live ice carving demonstration will begin at noon in the Gazebo, allowing visitors to watch as two large blocks of ice are transformed into a beautiful work of art. This Valentine’s Sculpture will be the perfect complement for your special and memorable photo ops.
