Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary

Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is an 86 acre green space located in Charlton, MA. We have trails open from dawn until dusk and a visitor center that houses a library, mineral collection, live animals, and gift shop. The sanctuary is free of charge to enjoy. Our main mission is preservation and environmental education. We host many programs and a great summer nature and science camp. A birthday party at Capen Hill offers a fun, educational, and memorable experience, providing a refreshing alternative to traditional party options. We provide a 45 minute animal program where children learn about the sanctuary and interact with the resident animals. We then take a 15 minute loop hike on Mountain Laurel Lane and Lady Slipper Valley to look for lollipops. The rest of the time is for cake, presents, piñatas, pizza ordered out or whatever you choose! The room is yours!
