Berkshire Trails Camp is a coed overnight summer camp in beautiful Great Barrington, Massachusetts, offering four flexible 2-week sessions on a classic lakeside campus. Serving campers from 2nd through 11th grade, the camp blends traditional activities with modern facilities, including a waterfront for waterskiing and paddle-boarding, a 20,000-square-foot fieldhouse, tennis and basketball courts, circus arts, and a vibrant art center. For more than 40 years, Agawam has proudly offered summer camps for its youngest members and their friends, welcoming children rising into first through tenth grades. Our wide selection of Summer Day Camps offers campers ages 4 to 16 a kid’s-eye-view of maritime history as they explore the Museum. Community Sailing day camps let kids ages 6 to 15 build and refine their sailing skills with our sailing instructors out on the Mystic River. Our residential, Joseph Conrad Overnight Camp invites campers 8 to 15 to spend a week with us, learning to sail by day, doing fun maritime themed activities in the evenings, and sleeping aboard a historic ship by night. And teens 15 and up can sail along the coast as part of the crew of the schooner Brilliant. Select the camp that best suits your children and give them a summer to remember at Mystic Seaport Museum! Experience the Museum’s waterfront from both land and sea—and step into the life of a sailor. Mornings are spent exploring Museum exhibits and participating in hands-on activities, which may include climbing the rigging on the historic Joseph Conrad, learning the basics of celestial navigation in the Treworgy Planetarium, and trying a variety of maritime crafts. In the afternoons, campers head to the Sailing Center to learn small-boat sailing on the Mystic River with our U.S. Sailing–certified instructors using the Museum’s fleet of historic Dyer Dhows. For alumni of our Joseph Conrad Sailing Camp, this program offers a fun, relaxed way to revisit many favorite activities in a day-camp format.

North Country Camps is a traditional sleepaway camp in New York’s Adirondack Mountains for children ages 8–15. With a focus on outdoor adventure, choice, and community, campers enjoy an unplugged summer that builds confidence, independence, and lasting friendships. Summer Discovery Adventures are immersive, week-long day programs that give kids a chance to step back in time and experience life in the 1830s at Old Sturbridge Village. Every session offers kids the opportunity to explore an aspect of 19th-century history and daily life. All programs include an afternoon snack, hands-on crafts, and the chance to learn something new while making lasting friends and memories.

Our Summer Camp is located at our Nature Sanctuary, which lies on 86-acres of gorgeous woodlands, open fields, and vernal pools. This immersive outdoor experience allows kids to explore nature, build friendships, and develop a variety of social traits. Our program fosters a love for the outdoors while promoting teamwork, character, and environmental stewardship. Our counselors and staff are dedicated to making sure every camper will have a fun, safe, and enriching summer that leaves them with lasting memories and a deeper connection to nature.
