Mystic Seaport Museum's SpongeBob Birthday Party!

Did you hear? It’s SpongeBob’s birthday and you’re invited to our SpongeBob SquarePants birthday party! Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. Just like all of us here at Mystic Seaport Museum, SpongeBob loves the ocean, his friends, and underwater sea stories of all kinds. On July 14, visit our Voyage to the Deep - Underwater Adventures exhibit and celebrate your favorite maritime character at our first-ever Mystic Seaport Museum SpongeBob Birthday Party!

- The first 100 families to arrive will receive 2 free passes to come back this summer with their "Patrick" (best friend).*
- Enjoy SpongeBob story time in the Collins Gallery at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Kids are encouraged to wear yellow or a SpongeBob costume.
- Make and sign a big birthday card.
- At 2:30 we’ll gather on the McGraw Gallery Quadrangle at the north end of the Museum to sing a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday, SpongeBob”
- Yes, there will be cake and other surprises!
*Not for use day of. Passes will be valid until September 2, 2024. Limited 2 passes per purchase group.
