The Children's Workshop - Providence

At The Children’s Workshop, our first priority is your child. And because we’re run by parents, with young children like yours, we strive every day to create warm, nurturing environments where children can explore and learn. Our experienced team of early childhood professionals is committed to the unique and individual development of every child in our care. Each of our teachers is a professional in the field of early childhood education and has been carefully selected through an extensive interview and orientation process. In addition, all of our teachers receive ongoing classroom support, supervision, continuing education, and extensive opportunities for professional development. The Children’s Workshop is a nonprofit organization that was formed by dedicated and experienced teaching professionals with a specific goal in mind: the growth, development, care, and education of infants and young children. For over 32 years, we have prided ourselves on providing children and their families from urban, low-income communities throughout Rhode Island, and surrounding towns, with high-quality care that emphasizes on early education. We help our students develop math and reading skills with age-appropriate materials, so they will have a head start in their education. Our main objective is to ensure excellent learning programs, dedicated caregivers, and classrooms that are safe, warm and inviting. Two of our schools are currently NAEYC accredited and we are actively working on earning accreditation for all of our sites.
