The mission of the Parks & Recreation Department is to provide active and passive recreational areas and activities to meet the needs of all segments of the Burrillville Community. The Department of Parks & Recreation is responsible for all recreational functions, facilities, activities, assets and resources within the town not under the school department. The Town's Recreation Commission, appointed by the Town Council, oversees and recommends policies to the Director of Parks and Recreation.
