Looking for a chance to perfect your mud pie? Not bugged by bugs? Or maybe feathers tickle your fancy. Either way, you will have a BLAST(-off) at one (or all!) of our summer events.

Celebrate each day with educator-lead programs, hands on drop in activities, and community partners!
Feeling bird-brained? That’s a good thing! Join our Feather Fest to spy some frequent flyers, use tools to simulate birds’ eating habits, practice your calls and warbles, and meet a favorite feathered friend. Discover the fascinating world of birds in this avian adventure!
Themed Programs:
- 11:00 am – Science Discovery: “Rudy’s Birds” Story Time
- 11:45 am – Astronomy Live! (Educator-Led Program in the Planetarium)*
- 12:00 pm – Otter Encounter*
- 12:30 pm – Science Discovery: Fill the Bill
- 1:30 pm – Astronomy Live! (Educator-Led Program in the Planetarium)*
- 2:15 pm – Planetarium Show*
- 2:45 pm – Science Discovery: Is it an Egg?
- 3:30 pm – Planetarium Show*
- 4:15 pm – Afternoon Astronomy
