Mother’s Day Weekend - Coggeshall Farm Museum

Celebrate mom with a relaxing trip to Coggeshall Farm Museum! Watch costumed historian Lily work on the barn frame loom and learn about the history of weavers in Rhode Island. Visit the kitchen garden, where costumed historian Owen will be hard at work doing seasonal garden chores. Pick up a take-home seed kit, featuring Jacob’s Cattle Bean, an heirloom variety. And, be sure to visit with our pigs, chickens, and our two cats!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately.

On Saturday, May 8th, you can also see a demonstration of 18th-century paint-making techniques from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
