Welcome To The Wonderful World Of Sewing & Art! We have taught over 4,000 folks, how to sew!! We specialize in making sewing and art fun, easy and enjoyable while creating in a modern and vibrant studio. Expressive Deco Trays
Wednesday, April 7th~ 3:45pm - 6pm
Decoupaging is the craft of decorating objects like wooden furniture, paper-mache boxes, bowls, vases and more! By using pre-pinked fabric, rice paper and tissue paper students will create a decorative sewing and/or art inspired tray. Trim, ribbon, rick rack, buttons and all other supplies will be provided. Each layer is sealed with multiple coats until the “stuck on” appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work.
These are great holders for children to display their art and sewing supplies!
Cost: $38 + $15 material fee brought to the class in the form of cash or check.
Bunny Cake Decorating
Wednesday, April 14th ~ 3:45pm - 6pm
These sweet bunnies are adorable and delicious! Come learn the art of cake decorating while creating your very own bunny faces! Learn tips and tricks on frosting a cake smooth, how to color frosting, set up and fill decorating bags and change tips. You will also learn how to use the tips to create different flower, leaf, border and face designs.
Cost: $40 + $15 material fee brought to the class in the form of cash or check. Please indicate when checking out if you would like a vanilla or chocolate cake.
The Fun World of Decoupage
Wednesday, May 19th ~ 3:45pm - 6pm
Decoupaging is the craft of decorating objects like wooden furniture, paper-mache boxes, bowls and vases. By using pictures cut out of magazines, paper, personal photographs or fabric one can create a very artistic and sophisticated piece. Each layer is sealed with multiple coats until the “stuck on” appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work.
In this workshop students will have a variety of vases to choose from and all supplies are provided. Take skills learned to go on to decoupage small tables, chairs, bureaus and just about anything!
Cost: $38 + $10 material fee brought to the class in the form of cash or check.
