Intermediate Robotics Coding ( Grades 4 - 8 ) - At Seekonk Public Library

Attention LEGO Robotics Coders! Seekonk Public Library is offering an “Intermediate Robotics Coding” session using LEGO SPIKE Prime robots and Scratch-based Word Blocks language.
The program will utilize a partial 2023 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) "SuperPowered" Robot Game set and challenge students' coding abilities to complete actual missions and score points! Students will use concepts previously taught in the Introductory session along with some new techniques and methods to boost their skills further.
This session is a great way for students to prepare for FIRST LEGO League which is a globally recognized middle school robotics competition with a new theme every fall. For more information, please visit firstinspires.org/robotics/fll
Prerequisites: Grades 4 - 8+. Completion of the "Introduction to Robotics Coding" session or demonstrable coding experience with LEGO SPIKE Prime robots.
The program will meet on four consecutive Tuesdays; January 9-30, 2024 from 3:45 PM - 5:15 PM. A commitment to all 4 weeks is required.
