Fall 2022 Afterschool Art : Grades 5-8 - With Harbor Creative Arts

An art class for [middle school] students in 5th - 8th grade.
Students will learn new drawing techniques, expand on prior drawing & design skills, experiment with various types of paint, and collage with a mixture of materials.
Teachers plan the techniques and skills to focus on based on the developmental and skill level of the small group. Thus the projects and materials will vary.
All art projects encourage student individuality and unique ideas! Class size is limited to 8-10 students.
All skill levels and types of learners are welcome.
Lots of art is made in a low-stress setting that also values community culture building.

*This class is open to 5th graders who have schedules that work for this class and feel comfortable with the middle schoolers or for 5th graders who are already in middle school.
New this fall! An art show event will be held at the end of each session for all afterschool students.

Art classes are non-refundable.
New for fall 2022: Each student will be able to reschedule (if available/possible) or be credited for ONE missed class a session if an absence occurs.
