Desert Discovery Day returns to Jewel of the Creek Preserve on November 14, 2026, for a free, all-ages festival packed with gold panning, wildlife encounters, and hands-on desert exhibits.

Join us for Desert Discovery Day on November 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at beautiful Jewel of the Creek Preserve in Cave Creek. This free family festival features hands-on activities, close encounters with native wildlife, and interactive exhibits celebrating the wonders of the Sonoran Desert. Hosted by Desert Foothills Land Trust, the all-ages event invites the community to connect with nature and learn about the conservation work that protects our desert home.
