Maya Shieber Maya is a dance educator with over 10 years of teaching experience and a big love of movement in all its forms. Classically trained in ballet for 20 years, they began teaching in 2015 and have worked with dancers of all ages—from elementary students to adult beginners. In 2016, Maya joined their first cosplay dance cover group and discovered a passion for idol-style performance. Today, they are the dance captain of the cosidol group IDOLiZED! and perform, compete, and choreograph with the jazz/contemporary Pyrite Dance Team. Maya is thrilled to bring their love of J-pop and idol dance to Endicott Dance! They adore high-energy routines and sweet, sparkly choreography, and focus on creating classes that feel fun, welcoming, and confidence-boosting for dancers from middle school through adult.
