Explore Spanish and Portuguese-Speaking cultures through folk-music, original songs and stories in this music and language immersion class for children ages 0 to 5. Puppets, scarves, native percussion instruments, dolls and books with poems and rhymes add to the fun. Dances and games with toys native to the countries encourage learning through movement.
Characters such as Lento the Turtle, Tio Pepino, La Vaca Lola and Los Pollitos lead children through musical concepts like notation reading. Percussion instruments, drum songs and pitched percussion guide children into musical mastery of tempos and melodical styles.
