Agricultural Day at the Farm

Celebrate the history of agriculture in Rhode Island at Coggeshall Farm Museum!

Celebrate the long history of farming in Rhode Island. Join us on the farm to see antique tractors (early 20th century), enjoy hayrides, goat hikes, and more farm fun. Play some games like hay rolling, 2-person saw competition, and burlap sack races. Stroll through the gardens and assist in harvesting our fall crops. Learn about how to preserve foods to keep for the long New England winters. Vote for your favorite ridiculously large garden vegetable and flower arrangements on display. Finish the day with some painting lessons using the farm animals for inspiration.
