Norton|Saint-Gobain: FREE ADMISSION DAY featuring USA Luge for the Norton Challenge

10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Join us on Saturday, January 24th for a FREE ADMISSION DAY thanks to the generous support from Norton|Saint-Gobain. This is also your opportunity to experience the fastest sport on ice with the USA Luge Team!
Participants will use easy-to-maneuver plastic sleds in a safe, slope-side setting with help from USA Luge Team, international medalists, and coaches. Participation in the Norton Luge Challenge is free, and no experience is required! Waivers, signed by a legal guardian, are required for all participants.
In addition to this activity, visitors will have access to the full museum and grounds, and all of our regularly scheduled programming!
No ticket purchase or pre-registration necessary.
Programs Schedule:
- 11:00 am — Science Discovery: Animals in Winter
- 11:45 am — Cosmic Adventure (Planetarium full-dome movie)**
- 12:30 pm — Science Discovery: A Chill in the Air
- 1:15 pm — Astronomy Live! Satellites: A Space Oddity (Educator-led program in the planetarium)
- 2:00 pm — Astronomy Live! Tour of the Solar System (Educator-led program in the planetarium)
- 2:45 pm — Science Discovery: Snowflake Symmetry
- 3:30 pm — Passport to the Universe (Planetarium full-dome movie)**
- 4:15 pm — Afternoon Astronomy
** Requires a separate ticket that is not included with admission.

- USA Luge Track off Sundial Plaza
- Winter Wonderland in Stoddard Gallery
There is always something new happening both on our grounds and inside the museum building. For maximum fun, experience one of our daily planetarium programs* or take a ride on the Worcester Railers Explorer Express Train* (weather dependent).
