Spring 2023 Classes!
Saturday Morning Classes—February 4th to April 22nd –$45.00 (Scholarships available- email woliver@providence.edu)
Class dates: February 4, 11, 18, 25; March 18, 25; April 1, 15, 22
9:30-10:05 Ages 4-5 Creative Dance
10:15-11:00 Ages 6-8 Creative Dance
11:00-12:00 Ages 9-12 Musical Theatre Dance

CREATIVE DANCE teaches movement fundamentals while encouraging children to become contributors to the creative process. Classes work on rhythm, grace, strength, flexibility, cooperation, and creativity. Each action-packed class consists of activities which promote body awareness, technical competence, and knowledge of dance concepts. Creative Dance is equally enjoyable for boys and girls, because it values the individual movement styles of each student.
MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE Children will learn jazz dance basics to improve coordination and flexibility. Each week, students will learn a short dance based on a different musical, including family favorites such as Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, and Wicked, and will also choreograph their own dances to songs from musicals.
