Bach & Boogie - Providence, RI

Bach & Boogie is a joyful weekly music class for babies and toddlers (ages 0–4) held inside senior living communities. Together with parents and elders, we create an intergenerational circle of real music, exploratory movement, and connection.

Each 45-minute class flows through four musical moods: Allegro (happy!), Largo (calm!), Vivace (fast!), and Boogie (dance!). We listen to Bach, Mozart, Debussy, folk and jazz, with one simple musical idea each week—like high vs. low, loud vs. soft, or musical storytelling. Children are free to move, explore, or rest at their own pace. Parents and seniors join in with shakers, ribbons, and smiles.
