April Vacation Earth Celebration at the Museum of Natural History

Discover our dynamic planet, past and present! Enjoy activity tables and daily planetarium shows. From the ground under your feet to the sky above, join us at the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium in Roger Williams Park to explore the wonders of our incredible Earth. Daily Activities | Saturday, April 18 – Friday, April 24 10am–4pm | Earth Family Fun Explore a variety of family-friendly, hands-on activities highlighting our local and global ecosystems. Cost: Free with Museum admission.

From the ground under your feet to the sky above, join us at Museum of Natural History and Planetarium in Roger Williams Park to explore the wonders of our incredible Earth. Museum admission is $2 | Free for Museum Members and children under age 4. Planetarium shows (includes Museum Admission) are $5 | Free for Museum Members. Children must be age 4 or older to attend the planetarium show. 

2pm | Our Place in Space Planetarium show
There’s no place like home! Begin your journey on Earth and travel through our solar system and beyond. Explore the craters of Mercury, the storms of Neptune, and discover what makes Earth unique before venturing into nebulae and star clusters of the Milky Way galaxy. Show includes updated visuals!
Audience: General (children must be age 4+)
Cost: Planetarium show ticket (includes museum admission) is $5/ Museum Members Free.

City Nature Challenge Presentation: Bringing the world together for biodiversity
Join Malia Cafasso, TerraCorps Community Engagement Coordinator at Audubon Society of Rhode Island and Stormwater Innovation Center, to learn about how to use iNaturalist and how to participate in the City Nature Challenge.
Cost: Free (attendees receive Free Museum Admission on April 23)
