All About Turtles! - At Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary

It's turtle time! Get up close with some of our amazing wildlife ambassadors and discover what makes New England’s turtles so unique. From painted turtles basking in the sun to snapping turtles lurking below the surface, we’ll explore the fascinating ways these reptiles survive and thrive in our local landscapes. After meeting these amazing animals and learning about their habits and habitats, we’ll grab our gear and head outdoors! We’ll visit the ponds, forests, and meadows turtles call home, as we try to catch a glimpse of them in the wild. Along the way, we’ll learn how to find their favorite hiding spots and understand the challenges they face.
