2026 Homeschool Our Nation's 250th Celebration at Mystic Seaport Museum
How did we get here? Each class period explores a different “century” in the American story—from the pre-Columbian era through today. Students will examine political landscapes, economics, social histories, wars, gains, and injustices as they relate to race, gender, and socioeconomic structures. We’ll explore how key chapters unfolded, considering the influence of waterways, coastal communities, and seafaring connections on the nation’s development. (ages 8-13, capacity: 20)
