Snooze at the Zoo- Family Overnight at Roger Williams Park Zoo

Snooze at the Zoo for the wildest family overnight adventure in town! The night begins with pizza and ice cream before educators engage you and children in hands-on activities, animal encounters, and a Zoo tour by flashlight. End the evening by crawling into your sleeping bag in the Meller-Danforth Education Center with popcorn and a movie. You’ll need your zzzzs before waking up with the animals! A light breakfast will be provided before a morning Zoo tour.

Saturday, July 21: That Animal’s Got Talent - Reality TV stars can’t compete with the superstars of the animal world. Dancing cranes, crooning gibbons, fashionable peacocks and beavers that build – overnight participants will be dazzled by the amazing talents of animals. Vote for your favorite!

Saturday, July 28: Stayin’ Alive - Animals in the food chain do everything they can to stay alive. Over time, many have developed amazing adaptations that keep them from becoming the next item on the menu. Some have clever camouflage, some have built-in armor and others even sacrifice body parts.
