Skulls from Near and Far - Museum of Natural History and Planetarium

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 10/17/2022
No better month than October to come learn about the spookiest of bones…skulls! In this family program we will cover some of the easily observed differences in skull morphology which separate different groups, and learn identification tips for the mammals most commonly found in Rhode Island. Then we will have a chance to explore a curated collection of animal skulls from around the world. If you have a specimen you’d like some help identifying, feel free to bring it in! Choose from one of two dates, this is not a two-part program.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Program fee: $3 per person per program/Museum Members free. Pre-registration is required. Capacity is limited. This is not a drop off program.
